摘要

In April 1998, we mailed a Confidential Compensation Questionnaire to 2,500 qualified teleservices managers. The results were compiled in May 1998 from information received from 294 companies — a response rate of 11.8%. (Companies that did not provide complete information on how they compensate their teleservices employees were omitted from tabulation.) Of the 294 respondents included in our results, 227 identified themselves as in-house teleservices departments (77% of respondents), 39 as service agencies (13%) and 28 did not specify (10%).
