In the present environment of rapid technological changes in telecommunications the designers and manufacturers need to have an integrated database, providing on-line information about the devices, in order to effectively ensure the product quality. Component selection from an integrated database thus not only ensures improved quality in telecom products, but also results in better customer satisfaction.
