The Cellular Mobile Telephone is a value added service and is a quite useful service, and perhaps a luxury & status symbol as well. It is quite useful, as a subscriber can dial from Railway station to home and inform about his arrival and by the time he comes out of Railway station, crossing the plateform, his relatives might have arrived to receive him at the Railway station. Presently, this service is being owned by Private Operators but a similar service called Personal Communication Service (PCS) is going to be launched by DOT soon.
