MESSAGE

摘要

BSNL, a leader in introduction of latest technology in telecom in India, has implemented third generation mobile technology in BSNL network during last two years. Variants of third generation have been implemented, in 752 cities and work is in process for another 8 cities. Fourth generation mobile radio technology is under trial in several parts of the world. Equipments with proven technology are expected to be available during 2014. Implementation of IPV6 in BSNL network is also expected to be completed during the same time. A combination of these two shall enable technically to make each house hold gadgets alive and introduction of host of facilities viz. providing expert medical services at remote locations. It gives me immense pleasure to learn that T&D circles is issuing a special issue 2nd part on '4G mobile technology' in such a short span of time.
