California, New England Telehealth Networks Among Top FCC Rural Health Care Grant Recipients

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R.) said that the state will use its $22 million share of the $417 million in grant money the FCC distributed from the Rural Health Care Pilot Program to build the California Telehealth Network and improve access for rural and underserved areas to advanced health services, and as a resource for emergency services and disaster preparedness.
