Broadband Workshops Seek Data, Answers, Ideas FCC Chief Says Lacking in National Plan Proceeding

Thousands of pages of written comments didn't produce the information or ideas needed to help the FCC produce a plan to ensure that all Americans have access to broadband capability - or least that's the view of the agency's Chairman and its national broadband coordinator. The Commission is now in the midst of weeks of public workshops to gather testimony from wide range of providers, academics, business users, government experts, and others, followed by questions from FCC staff and the public.
