Industry Opposes Bird Petition Filed by Environmental Groups

The wireless industry and a major public safety group say the FCC should deny a petition filed by three environmental groups that want the agency to bolster its compliance with laws protecting migratory birds, saying the petition goes well past actions needed to comply with a 2008 appellate court remand and is not based on scientific evidence.
