House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R., Calif.) has asked FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski to provide information about the agency's procedures with respect to Commissioner Meredith A. Baker's resignation from the agency to take a job at Comcast Corp.'s NBCUniversal joint venture. Commissioner Baker announced her resignation, effective June 3, on May 11, and Comcast announced the same day that she would be the new senior vice president-government affairs at NBCUniversal (TR, May 15).
