The Universal Service Administrative Co. has told the FCC in a letter that a local phone service rate floor adjustment that is included in the FCC's Connect America Fund Order and that took effect in July will save the Universal Service Fund $l .39 million over the next year, with further savings possible next July as the rate floor is adjusted again.
