It's one of the most widely held beliefs in telecom: Committing to a higher minimum annual revenue commitment with a carrier will net you better discounts.If you asked Bill Goddard how he felt about that mantra a year ago, the VP at Memphis, Tenn.-based Continuous Price Intelligence says he would have told you it was carrier spin. But a regression analysis he recently shared with Voice Report, using data provided from 140 LD deals struck since December 2005, indicates there might be some truth to the axiom.
