Don't be shocked to discover that more than 8% of your average cell phone user's bill is eaten up by overage charges and another 1% goes to 411 calls. That's what Orange, Conn.-based telecom expense management vendor Tangoe Inc. found recently when it studied monthly cell phone bills for some 475,000 devices it manages for about 100 enterprises, reports Wayne DeCesaris, VP of managed solutions. Caveat: Tangoes data includes cell phones, smart phones, air cards and pagers.
