The blurring of IT, tele-coms, media and broadcast technologies was on display in stark reality at CommunicAsia last month as companies from across the ICT spectrum touted the promise of mobile TV and all its benefits. Despite the huge lure of the World Cup, attendance at the four-day exhibition increased 5% from last year to almost 64,000 visitors, 49% of them overseas attendees, according to the event organizer Singapore Exhibition Service. A total of 2,339 companies from 67 countries/regions participated in the expo.
