COMMISSION'S FORMER TECHNOLOGY CHIEF JOINS FCC-TRANSITION TEAM

Dale Hatfield, a former chief of the FCC Office of Engineering and Technology, has joined the transition team charged with shaping the future of the commission under the Barack Obama administration. The leaders of the FCC team are Susan Crawford of the University of Michigan Law School and Kevin Werbach of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Hatfield is an independent consultant and adjunct professor in the Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
