Less Is More, That's The Key

I often write my articles on my mobile, while on the road or waiting for a flight. The phone's a modest Nokia E51 with a standard 12-key layout. T9 predictive text lets me type at a brisk pace. (I then send it off to my office straight from the phone, or do some edits on my laptop later.) The phone I'm trying out now is the Nokia E71. It's probably the smallest and slimmest full-keyboard phone around. For a QWERTY keypad this small, it's impressive. The keys are tiny and bunched together, but usable, though you can hit the wrong key once in a while. Nokia says this model, unlike other QWERTY phones, is designed for one-handed use as well as with both hands. The E71 is feature-packed, including assisted GPS, a 3.2 MP camera with LED flash, etc. But let's get back to the keyboard.
