摘要

We applied a specially rolled taper steel plate to short span Ⅰ-girder bridges and examined the reduction in steel weight or manufacturing costs. The bridge form is the simple I-girder of a railroad bridge, and the span is 9.8 m and 12.9 m. The design load is KS-16. We designed four flange models: the standard model, the constant model, the vertically tapered model, and the vertically and horizontally tapered model. The manufacturing costs include steel costs, special rolling costs, and welding costs.
