Actually, engineers broke the old school system they originally helped build about 130 years ago, thus showing once again technology's power to both establish and break paradigms. I assure you, the breaking of the old system was not motivated by malice or greed. It was a long time coming-and its seeds contain the promise and the challenge of the twenty-first century education community-subject integration.
