In a significant milestone for smart fabrics, BoostrnProducts, a Netherlands-based specialist in brand and sales activation, is to introduce the first commercial shirts featuring Philips' Lumalive technology in November this year.rnBoost will target the market for sales and brand promotion, including trade fairs and advertising campaigns, as well as events such as dance parties, in the Benelux countries.rnSpecial Lumalive light-emitting diode (LED) technology has been integrated into the fabric, turning the clothes into a live display or billboard on which any given text, animation or (moving) images can be displayed-in any colour, Philips says.
