Surviving turmoil in the US textile industry-Duro Textiles

Venerable Duro Textiles is a true survivor in the US textile industry: a dyer, finisher, printer and coater since 1947, the company from Fall River, Massachusetts, has seen several ownership changes through those years. Duro serves a wide variety of markets but, as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Edward W. Ricci II puts it, the company's "wheelhouse" is its military developmental fabrics. Duro has served the US military and its allies for more than 30 years and many of its innovations in this area have been extended to into the company's commercial product lines.
