Japanese partners develop thermally formable nonwoven for bag filters

Two Japanese partners have developed a bag filter that they claim requires less energy to use effectively. Asahi Kasei of Osaka and Nagoya-based Asamasu say that installing the bag filter, called dECOb, can save industrial users up to 20% on the costs of the electricity needed for filtration.
