The Acquisitions Managers and Vendors Interest Group held its biannual meeting in Philadelphia during the ALA Midwinter Meeting. The session, entitled "Migratory Behavior-Maintaining External Integration Amid an ILS Migration," was focused on the impact of an integrated library system (ILS) migration on library acquisitions. In particular, the discussion centered on the maintenance of critical external information transfers over the course of an ILS migration. The types of external information transfers discussed included order information from serial and monographic vendors, title information from bibliographic utilities, and financial data exported to institutional accounting systems.
