Report of the ALCTS Technical Services Managers of Academic Libraries Interest Group Meeting. American Library Association Midwinter Conference, Philadelphia, PA, January 2020

The Technical Services Managers in Academic Libraries Interest Group (TSMALIG), chaired by Lauren DeVoe of Columbia University, met at the 2020 ALA Midwinter Conference on Saturday, January 25. This year, due to the uncertainty of the future of ALA's Midwinter conference and the lack of many committee meetings occurring, the interest group organizers were not sure who might attend the TSMALIG session. Happily, 51 librarians came and participated, sitting at four tables where different discussion topics were facilitated by volunteers. Each discussion began with attendees briefly introducing themselves. Then participants talked at their tables for about 60 min. At the end, a representative from each table reported a few of the key takeaways from their discussion, while participants at other tables were able to ask questions to follow up on issues of interest.
