Library Publishing Coalition

The Library Publishing Coalition (LPC) began in 2013 to provide a centralized location for scholarly publishing activities. It involved 61 academic libraries in collaboration with the Educopia Institute. This website is LPC's home managed by Educopia. A wealth of information is found on this website for members and nonmembers alike without the user feeling overwhelmed. The scrolling slideshow on the home page provides up-to-date relevant information on partnerships, publications, scheduled events, and updates to the library publishing community. A brief explanation on LPC is located below the slideshow. Scrolling down the home page from here, the user can view recent blog posts and user connection sign-up options for quarterly announcements, social media, and listserv membership. A list of LPC members comes next along with a Contact Us button, definition of library publishing, and a website search box, which is also available on the bottom of every website page.
