It will certainly reduce the dust in the air that is typical from most wet/dry vacuums and reduce wear and tear on the vacuum motor. The directions are clear, and I believe most of your readers could reproduce his two-bucketrnsystem for collecting dust. But why go to the extraordinary effort and expense ($75 was his estimate) when there are commercial products available for the same price?
