BRIAN VOGT ("Frame a Gable Wall" pp. 44-49) is the carpentry chair at North Bennet Street School in Boston and an adjunct professor at Boston Architectural College. North Bennet's 2016 carpentry class, shown here, started the 36-week program by building small structures on school grounds and learning skills from construction math to water management before tackling real-world projects.
