三井製糖株式会社千葉工場のTPM活動

摘要

工場を永続的に運営していくためには「安定操業」「技術力向上」は必須であり，連続操業下での工場では，操業中の設備保全活動が重要となる。三井製糖千葉工場では安定した生産体制を維持·強化していくためのツールとしてTPM活動に取り組むこととした。Total Productive Maintenanceの頭文字を略称したもので，「全員参加の生産保全」という意味である。生産システム効率化を極限追求する企業体質づくりを目標とし，「災害ゼロ」「不良ゼロ」「故障ゼロ」など,あらゆるロスを未然防止する仕組みを構築し，生産部門をはじめ，開営業，管理などのあらゆる部門にわたつて経営者から一般社員にいたるまで全員が参加し，ロスゼロを達成していくことと一般に定義されている。%In order to ensure the survival of our factories, we attempted to stabilize operations through technical power improvement. The Chiba factory of Mitsui Sugar Co., Ltd implemented a total production maintenance (TPM) program to reinforce this foundation. In 2013， the company operated 114 sets of equipment that were difficult to maintain. The TPM program achieved remarkable results, which are detailed below: 1. In areas where the program was introduced, stoppage times were reduced by approximately 90% compared with the first year of the program. 2. Similarly, construction-related documentation was reduced by approximately 30%. 3. Standardization of maintenance activities and the improvement of worker's abilities were achieved through lectures on how to maintain facilities and equipment. The contents of the lectures were recorded as videos and documents for future education and standardization purposes. Before the introduction of the TPM program, the daily equipment inspection methods were ambiguous and had been entrusted to each person's experience and ability. We have now introduced standards for these activities. Our present task is to include these standards in the daily routine. We will incorporate maintenance work in normal activities, ensuring that even an inexperienced person can perform the tasks easily. We would like to link these to accident prevention and operation safety.
