While I usually find myself agreeing with what I read in your magazine, I must take exception to the article on scanning by Jeff Hall (AUTOMATIC SCANNING: A Really Bad Idea, August 2012 S.W.A.T.). More and more criminals are working in teams. Often one or more members of these packs will not even be involved in the crime, but waits and watches to backup their accomplices if needed.
