Take Someone Shooting

I like going shooting. I like going with family, with friends, and even by myself. But perhaps more than anything else, I like going with someone who is on the fence when it comes to owning and shooting firearms.When taking such a person to the range, I don't talk about hunting, self-defense or the Second Amendment. If they show interest, that can-and probably will-come later, but the main purpose of the outing is to have fun.Gun owners, regardless of what genre of shooting they engage in, have been (and continue to be) portrayed by the mainstream media as psychotic, insensitive, blood-lusting kooks with a room-temperature IQ. Our job is to show a fence sitter that the media stereotype is pure fiction.
