Kenco Facilitates Seamless Implementation of RedPrairie Across Distribution Network

Challenge: A major manufacturer in the healthcare industry needed to transition its multi-site network from an outdated, manual system to a state-of-the-art tier 1 warehouse, labor and transportation management system (RedPrairie) to effectively compete. Solution: A cross functional team of 60 associates worked together to coordinate a rollout plan, validate and implement the new system. The sites were transitioned in a phased approach. During each site transition, Kenco documented lessons learned to help improve later implementations. This resulted in smoother transitions and greatly reduced the need for overtime labor required to meet services levels during the subsequent rollouts.
