The Purposeful Integration of an Academic Electronic Health Record across Nursing Curricula

This poster highlights use of an academic electronic health record project (AEHR). The goal of this project is to expand the use of the academic electronic health record as a teaching tool throughout all levels of the nursing curricula in order to enhance student engagement and success in learning. The plan addresses student learning in the key areas of collaboration, critical thinking, and application. Student outcomes were developed for each level of the nursing curriculum, based on these three key areas. A timeline for implementation and student and faculty evaluation was developed.
