IMA 2006 salary survey

For the second year in a row, the average salary for members of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA~®) did not increase by a statistically significant amount. Members who responded to IMA's 18th Annual Salary Survey for 2006 reported an average salary of $95,268, representing a 2.7% increase over the amount reported in 2005. In 2006, 78% of respondents reported receiving an average salary increment of $5,871. Increases ranged from $50 to $162,000, with a median of $4,000 and mode of $3,000. The average increase is only slightly larger than the 2005 increment of $5,738 (reported by 74% of respondents).
