JICST Features: A series of JICST Seminars were held in Asian Countries!

JICST's Seminars were held in 3 countries, at Center for Science and Documentation and Information (PDII-LIPI), Indonesia, on January 15, 1996, Malaysian Sci-Tech Information Center (MASTIC), Malaysia, on January 17, 1996, and Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, Dept. of Science and Technology, in Thailand, on January 19, 1996. The seminar aimed to introduce science and technology information activities of JICST and discuss what mutual cooperation is helpful to develop activities in this area of Asia. Each seminar had substantial number of participants, and received positive involvement.
