The statistical analysis of sensory evaluation survey with EXCEL

"In developing perfumed product, it is highly recommended to conduct a sensory evaluation survey for as many people as possible, while we should admit there're limits to. Therefore in most cases, we often apply a method to statistically analyze the results of sense evaluation that is only directed to limited number of monitors. However this statistical analysis involves the necessity of applying difficult func- tions often and also requires time, which is the worst defect. On the other hand, an analytical method with EXCEL enables data collection and functional calculation in comparatively easy way. Hence in this report, we'll introduce the statistical analysis method with EXCEL explaining how to use actual functions, many kinds of sensory evaluation and ways to analyze them."
