摘要

The laminar flow of a viscous incompressible fluid in an annular region between two infinitely long coaxial circular cylinders filled by a porous medium of variable permeability is studied. We consider permeability of the porous medium varies with the radial distance. The flow within the porous annular region is governed by the Brinkman law. Analytical solutions for relevant quantities as velocity and shear stress are obtained and exhibited graphically.
