Annual space congress hits high note for UK

More space professionals from across the world than ever before gathered for the International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2008) held at the SECC in Glasgow between 29 September and 3 October and organised by the British Interplanetary Society (BIS). It was the 59th in the history of the Congress and set a new record for attendance. There were over 3,000 attendees in total including more than 2,500 delegates - representing all the world's major space agencies, organisations and companies.
