EMS Unit Completes Tests on Two-Way Digital Technology

EMS Satellite Networks of Montreal has wrapped up the beta test period for the second version of its satellite network hub technology in preparation for the product's commercial release. The hub system offers highspeed, two-way digital communications by satellite using the Digital Video Broadcasting―Return Channel by Satellite (DVB-RCS) standard. The second generation is designed for use by private networks and small network operators in addition to the large-scale carriers served by its predecessor, according to a company press release.
