The amount of debt Intelsat expects to still be carrying under a revised plan to emerge from bankruptcy as a privately held company. Holders of about 75% of Intelsat's current $15 billion debt pile said they support the satellite operator's latest restructuring plan to exit Chapter 11 this year with more than half its debt erased. Although the plan still needs court approval, its popularity with Intelsat creditors is a turnaround from February when only about 25% backed a plan to shed the same amount of debt but emerge a publicly traded company. The number of jobs Orbit Fab expects to create in Colorado when it moves there from California. OrbitFab said it will relocate its HQ and engineering team from San Francisco to Denver after the Mile High City beat out less lofty sites in Florida and Texas. OrbitFab, which aims to establish the infrastructure for refueling satellites in orbit, launched its first prototype tanker in June. The amount the South Korean company Intellian that's building OneWeb's newly unveiled OW1 user terminal will spend opening a new plant to help "ensure a stable supply to OneWeb." Slated to open in May near Intelli-an's headquarters, the new plant is expected to more than double the number of terminals and gateway antennas Intellian will be able to build for the broadband constellation.
