THE SEPARATION OF ALKANES FROM COALS. KINETIC PARAMETERS

The data on the separation of alkanes from gas coal by vacuum distillation with variation of the temperature and time of treatment were used to determine the Arrhenius parameters of the rate constant of separating the C_8-C_18 hydrocarbons. A correlation was established between the activation energy of the separation process and the enthalpy of sublimation of the alkanes.
