RESERVISTS are continuing to punch above their weight as they become an increasingly important resource for the Army, a series of studies has found. Research funded by the MoD and led by the University of Edinburgh revealed the troops were highly committed and willing to make sacrifices for the Service. But academics also maintained that changes would be needed in future to ensure civvy street pressures on part-time personnel were recognised and addressed.
