SECOND INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL SYMPOSIUM 'NATURAL CONDITIONS OF CONSTRUCTION AND PRESERVATION OF ORTHODOX CHURCHES IN RUSSIA'

摘要

The symposium was convened in the Serge Garden at the Serge Trinity Monastery with the blessing of the most holy patriarch of Moscow and all of Russia, Alexis II. The organization committee of the symposium included the following: the Patriarchal Architectural-Restoration Center of the monastery, the Commission of the Russian Federation on UNESCO Affairs, the Committee on Cultural and Natural Legacy of the Secretariat of the European Union, the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on Problems of Geoecology, Engineering Geology, and Hydrogeology, Spetsproektrestavratsiya of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the PNIIIS of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Construction Affairs, and the Moscow University of geologic Exploration. One-hundred thirty-eight specialists from 58 Russian and foreign scientific-production, educational-scientific and methodological, research, design, survey, construction, and construction-equipment organizations and companies participated in the work of the symposium.
