Family and parenthood are constitutive for social pedagogical actions; the causes of interventions, which form the basis of these actions, are imbedded in social dynamics of changed family models. Also the children and youth welfare service and their benefits refer to family. Against this background, social changing processes of family will be introduced and potential reactions of children and youth service will be analyzed, whereat the question about particular family concepts, which are relevant for children and youth service, are focused.
