Instructor Robert Rippstein congratulates James Waldo on receiving his private pilot in gliders on his birtday, October 12, 2009. James soloed at 14 and worked with instructors Robert Rippstein and Hank Nixon over the next two years preparing for this day. James is a member of the Valley Soaring Club in Middletown, NY, and would like to thank all the members for their support.
