FERC defers ruling on PJM transmission owners' Orderrn1000 interregional cost-allocation plan

Finding that the avoided-cost approach the PJM Interconnection LLC and the Southeastern Regional Transmission Planning group developed for allocatingrnthe costs of interregional transmission system expansions and enhancements may be unlawful, FERC on Dec. 30, 2013, put off addressing the meritsrnof that plan until it rules on PJM's and the SERTP group's related Order 1000 interregional filings.
