摘要

Basin modelling and petroleum system research by gravity, magnetics, electrical information, as well as outcrops data, are known for the first time all over the world. The basin modelling syste, applied to early petroleum exploration stage, is established and the determination of input parameters is discussed in this paper. Xining Basin is taken for an example to illustrate the use of this modelling system. As the modelling results show, the largest part of the MT layer 3 in the Xining Depression and the Pinganyi Depression in the east of Xining Basin have gotten into the petroleum-generating threshold.
