摘要

The Xiangchuan district includes southeastern Sichuan province and western and middle parts of Hunan province. Sinian-Cambrian bedded cherts are well developed in the district. Our study results of REE geochemistry suggest that the total REE in the chert samples vary to a large extent with maximum content 241.95 mg/kg and minimum content 7.15 mg/kg. On the chondrite-normalized diagrams, all samples exhibit enrichment of light tREE relative to heavy REE.
