摘要

The prediction for hydrocarbon-bearing character of the underlying strata which are not drilled may be accomplished by the analysis of secondary mineral above the reservoir. We proposed the conception of the peculiar state mineral and briefly introduced its forming mechanics, distribution, attitude character and collective form. We explained its practical value in the oil exploration according to the applied practice from the six wells west of the Chaidamu Basin.
