NATO and Industry Need Transformation Partnerships

To play a key role in ensuring NATO's future success, industry must have a keen understanding of NATO's transformation agenda, explained Adm. Edmund P. Giambastiani Jr., USN, NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation and commander of the U.S. Joint Forces Command. The commander was speaking at the first Allied Commander Transformation's (ACT's) Industry Day in Berlin on September 16, 2004. The goal of the conference, cosponsored by AFCEA International and the U.S. Joint Forces Command, was to discuss ways to facilitate better information flow between NATO and industry.
