United States and China Expand Interoperability

U.S. Navy and People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) personnel recently completed the first bilateral counterpiracy exercise between the two nations. Conducted near the Horn of Africa, the event allowed sailors to conduct combined visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) activities.
