Internet Fraud Complaint Center Extends the Law's Reach

The investor who discovers he's been scammed by a fly-by-night online trading service, the online consumer whose credit card number is stolen by a computer hacker, and any number of victims of other forms of Internet-related crime who have wondered where to report the crime, now have an answer: the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI's) Internet fraud complaint center (IFCC). In the future, they won't even have to call the police—the IFCC will do it for them.
