P&O has announced the names and delivery dates for the next five Princess Cruises ships now on order. The Star Princess, a sister to the 109,000gt Grand Princess, under construction at Fincantieri, will enter service in March 2002, to be followed by the Chantiers-built 88,000gt pair Coral Princess in October 2002 and Island Princess in June 2003. The two 113,000gt Japanese Mitsubishi-built pair will enter service as Diamond Princess in July 2003 and Sapphire Princess in April 2004. The already announced 110.000gt Golden Princess is due out next year.
