Fire on board Zenith

Pullmantur's zenith (1992/47,255GT) suffered a small fire, caused by welding work on a lower deck, while docked in Stockholm on 18 August during a seven-day cruise from Copenhagen to the Baltic Capitals. Two crewmen were hospitalised overnight after suffering smoke inhalation.rnMost of the 1,600 mostly Spanish-speaking passengers were ashore at the time and none was injured. The fire itself was contained within an hour and a half and, apart from smoke, there was no extensive damage. Zenith remained overnight in Stockholm until released by the authorities, and continued with her cruise the following morning to St Petersburg,rncancelling a call at Tallinn, Estonia, to make up for lost time.
